Total Tunu TP11S/EPSC3

TUNU is a gas and condensate field located on the East of Kalimantan (Indonesia) on the outer margin of the Mahakam delta, partially onshore in swamp areas and partially offshore in shallow waters.
Since 2003, the TUNU field is operated in full Medium Pressure (MP) mode, corresponding to wellhead pressures between 25-35 barg, but due to continuous reservoir pressure depletion and well production decline, it is anticipated that lower wellhead pressures will be required after 2008 in order to keep the field potential compatible with the required gas deliverability.

The PROJECT objective is to maintain production whilst allowing for a decrease in the wellhead pressure from the current 25-30 barg range to as low as 10 barg, with a corresponding reduction of the reservoir abandonment pressure.

The South part of the PROJECT consists mainly of:
• One compression platform - South Compression Platform (SCP),
• One manifold platform -South Manifold Platform (SMP),
• One utilities platform with a new control room - South Utilities Platform (SUP),
• Offsite facilities (flaring system, telecom tower, tie-ins to existing and interconnecting pipelines, etc..),
• One new camp - South Production Unit Camp (SPU Camp).

The WORK is in respect of the following items:
• SITE preparation works (Site clearing, bund wall erection, dredging, shore line protection, fencing and re-plantation),
• Piling for SMP, SCP and SUP Platforms and associated fenders,
• Offsite facilities (river bank retaining wall, walkways, pipeways, flaring system, telecom tower, etc.),
• Early tie-ins and tie-ins to existing facilities,
• Interconnection (piping, cabling, instrumentation and telecom) between SMP, SCP and SUP platforms, offsites and SPU Camp,
• Installation of the Sub-sea Fibre Optic cable between existing TMP2 platform and the SUP platform.
