Between May 26 and 28, in Technip Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), the experts Alain Coutarel, Loic Ferron, Raul Risi, Jeroen Remery, Anne Vincent and Frederic Demanze presented to Petrobras the new developments on flexible pipe technologies.
On a three-day seminar our experts covered solutions of flexible pipes on depths greater than 3,000 m of water, the use of new materials such as carbon fibers, PVDF and polyamides, the development of new solutions for H2S content amongst other topics. Petrobras has been pleased with our technical leadership as our expert responded to their questions and shared with them the technical challenges that we face and how we are addressing them. Petrobras showed interest in our latest developments on the Spiral Stack Turret, FLNG offloading, flaring reduction and mid-water transfer lines which may address some of their current needs.
