According to him, the presence of nickel industry on the island Kanaena only causes environmental damage in the territory of the island that are not controlled.
"Almost certainly, the dredging of natural resources in the form of nickel on the island, will lead to the destruction of nature and in turn will bring disaster after disaster for the citizens of Island Kabaena," he said.
The most obvious disaster that would soon befall the citizens Kabaena, he said, is the number of spring droughts during the dry season and floods in times of rain.
"Two of the disaster, which will become regular customers for the citizens of Island Kabaena, if the island's nickel industry was founded," he said.
Currently he said, the activity of PT Billy who exploit nickel in Kabaena then sold abroad in the form of ore (nickel mixed soil), has caused serious environmental damage.

Earlier, the Governor of South East Sulawesi, H Nur Alam said, Billy PT International will establish nickel industry on the island Kabaena, District Bombana with industrial investment of 500 million dollars the United States.
He said the company will begin construction of the nickel industry in Kabaena early 2012 and is planned, beginning in 2014 was able to operate.
"The presence of nickel in Kabaena industry will bring great benefit to increasing the welfare of society, because in addition to be absorbed into the workforce in the company, residents also can open a business of providing the various needs of corporate employees," he said.
