Kabaena is a mountainous island at the tip of the peninsula of Southeast Sulawesi. The island is now a part of the administration area Bombana District, the results of the 2003 expansion of Buton Regency. Natural character of the mountains, Kabaena by itself presents a beautiful panorama.
