Cameron NUFLO Scanner 2000 Remote Access with Profile™ v3.0

NUFLO Scanner 2000 — Web-enabled Remote SCADA Data Collection
Cameron NUFLO Scanner 2000 Remote Access with Profile™ v3.0NORTHCHURCH, England, Sep 27th 2010. Ambrit Ltd. today announced that Profile v3.0 now includes full native support for the Cameron NUFLO Scanner 2000 flow computer.
All of Profile’s built in functions, such as historical data, charting, alarms, audit trail and reporting now work seamlessly with the NUFLO Scanner 2000. Profile can also collect data from the Scanner 2000 over serial, radio, 3G, GPRS and even satellite connections.
The Scanner 2000 is designed to be deployed in harsh and remote environments where there are limited power or communications available. With just a solar cell, battery and a radio connection the Scanner 2000 can be linked to the outside world and to Profile.
Several new features have been added to Profile v3.0 to allow it to take advantage of these capabilities. Because of the restriction on power consumption, Profile has been designed to keep the communications to a minimum, collecting a days worth of hourly data in a single data session in order to save the battery.
Of course, Profile still allows users to view real time data in the Scanner 2000 even when deployed in these restricted environments. To prevent unnecessary communications, Profile shows only the latest data collected and will limit the length of time that the Scanner 2000 stays connected, should a user need to view real time data or make changes to it.
Profile provides the easiest way, by far, of managing and distributing the data collected from a Cameron NUFLO Scanner 2000, whether it’s connected locally
